Insert style replacement INSTALLATION

Window inserts, are fully operational windows. Installed within the existing Jamb frame trim and sill. With a replacement window insert, the old interior and exterior remains. Insert method allows some of the original components to remain in place. There is much greater cost savings to the home owner with this type of new window. aslong as the existing openings are in good condition.

inserts to custom VINYL REPLACMENT window and door installations are divided into three installation size categories:

• Small units Under 101 united inches: ui*

• larger units over 101 up to 125 united inches: ui

• Extra large units over 125 up to 155 united inches: ui

• Super large units over 144 -12ft / united inches: ui

Older homes with roped and weighted existing windows , or lead remediation charges apply.

*larger and extra large units may require additional crew, ladders, or scaffolds and therefore some additional cost apply. but basically the ui price is where we start from.

*Minimum of three units per project for the small size ( UP-TO 101 ui) applies “OR” a $450 minimum
single visit project fee will be charged. plus supplies and waste haul

Double Hung Window description:

A Double Hung Window or over under sash window is the traditional style of window in the classic home style, with two parts (sashes) that overlap slightly and slide up and down inside the frame. The two parts are not necessarily the same size. Currently most new double-hung sash windows use spring balances to support the sashes, but traditionally, counterweights held in boxes on either side of the window were used. These were and are attached to the sashes using pulleys of either braided cord or, later, purpose-made chain. Three types of spring balances are called a tape or clock spring balance; channel or block-and-tackle balance; and a spiral or tube balance.
